Camille DeSantis is the co-founder of Guard Dog Brand Development. As co-president and managing partner, brand strategy and client services, Camille has over 25 years of award-winning experience in clinical practice and healthcare brand development. She has held executive-level brand strategy positions at some of the industry's leading companies, including Edelman, BioScience Communications, the Grey Healthcare Group, and Omnicom-owned communications companies.

Camille is the creator of the proven and proprietary brand identity development process called GUARD™, as well as thecorporate brand valuation assessment tool called the Asymmetric Information Dynamic Ratio™ (AID Ratio™).

Ms. DeSantis has spearheaded corporate brand identity initiatives for Infinity Pharmaceuticals, the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, Human Genome Sciences, Otsuka America, Ochsner Health System, and others. Her therapeutic category experience spans all areas of healthcare and she has been responsible for the science and product identity development of dozens of market-leading products and innovations.

Camille has received numerous industry awards, including her being named one of PharmaVoice's 100 Most Inspiring People in 2008 in the Life Sciences Industry, and being the recipient of the Spirit of Edelman Award 2006 and the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Rising Star of the Year 2004 Award. Her work has received Platinum and Gold Hermes Awards, Communicator Awards, American Graphic Design Awards, Creativity Annual Awards, Silver Davey Awards, Gold In-Awe Awards, Rx Club Awards of Excellence, Manny Awards, and New York Festival Awards of Excellence. She is a frequent author and speaker for publications and organizations such as NGP Pharma, Future Pharma, Spectrum, PharmaVoice, Medical Marketing & Media, Centers for Business Intelligence, Advertising Forum of NY, and the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. She has offered her services pro bono to rebrand In The Life Media, Inc. and its companion documentary series, In the Life, as well as creating breast cancer awareness campaigns for NYC schools.

Camille has a dual Bachelor of Science degree in both biology and English summa cum laude from Iona College and the Lenox Hill Hospital School of Medical Technology. She remains a licensed medical technologist with the American Society for Clinical Pathology and the National Certification Agency, and is a member of the American Medical Writers Association, Healthcare Businesswomen's Association, and the Society for Healthcare Strategy & Market Development of the American Hospital Association.
