GUARD DOG BRAND DEVELOPMENT TO PRESENT AT LIFE SCIENCES INDUSTRY SUMMIT
FOCUS ON BRIDGING THE GAP FROM CONCEPT TO COMMERCIALIZATION
New York, NY (May 27, 2008) - Guard Dog Brand Development® (GDBD) will present at the 2008 Life Sciences Industry Summit on Thursday, June 5, 2008. Maria Casini, Co-President, Managing Partner, Strategic Brand Design, of GDBD will make a formal presentation as part of a panel discussion on how brand development can drive awareness, valuation, and growth of life sciences companies and their innovations. The event will be held at the Hilton Long Island in Huntington, New York.
"Brand identity development may be the last thing on a life sciences company CEO's mind and yet it represents one of the biggest risks to his or her success," stated Ms. Casini. "Back-burnering of corporate, science, or product brand identity development can leave a growing company wide open to speculation and misinterpretation, and its being undervalued," added Camille DeSantis, Co-President, Managing Partner, Brand Strategy and Client Services, of GDBD.
The 2008 Life Sciences Industry Summit is presented by the Long Island Life Sciences Initiative (www.lilsi.org) and the Center for Biotechnology (www.biotech.sunysb.edu).
"We feel proud to have been honored for the best in creativity and execution from the foremost communications professionals in the business, with both our brandmark and our corporate brochure taking home Silver Communicator Awards," added Camille DeSantis, Co-President, GDBD.
